"It’s Time For Miracles!" by Nancy Dufresne

  In September of 2019, God said to me, “It’s time for miracles!” Yes, it’s always time for miracles, but when He declares something like that, He’s letting us know what He’s emphasizing, and what He’s emphasizing will have a greater flow of grace and revelation. When God makes a decree, there comes a grace and revelation available to fulfill that decree. A miracle can be received anytime, but now a grace, a window, is open for there to be a greater flow of miracles.

     Miracles can be received anytime we release our faith for them, but when there’s a grace (an anointing) for miracles, then miracles will seem to be “in the air.” There will be an ease and a greater flow to them.

     God is letting us know what HE’S emphasizing so WE will know what to emphasize. He is letting us know what we are to become skillful with. 

     Jesus wants to say to us all, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” He’s looking particularly for two things in our lives and in our serving – that we be good and faithful. If a man is good at his job, he’s skillful. He won’t be promoted if he’s not good at his job. So we could say it this way, “Well done, thou SKILLFUL and faithful servant.”

     In the 1990s, Ed had a vision of Jesus when fire shot out of His eyes. Jesus said to him, “You’re not being SKILLFUL with the healing anointing!” Lack of skill displeased Him. Without skill, we don’t receive, and others don’t receive. We are to have skill in receiving from God and skill in ministering to others. 

     Oral Roberts stated, “Every day miracles are coming to you or going past you!” So we need to become skillful at cooperating with miracle power so miracles don’t just pass us by. 

     When Blind Bartimaeus heard that Jesus was coming down the road, he called out. Because he called out in faith, believing that Jesus would do something for him, POWER (JESUS) stopped – it didn’t pass him by. Jesus wasn’t headed to Blind Bartimaeus, but He went where faith put Him. God goes where faith puts Him. The call of faith will call for miracles and receive them.

     In an excerpt from Kenneth E. Hagin’s book, I Believe In Visions, Jesus said to Brother Hagin that this is the last great revival. He went on to say, "All the gifts of the Spirit will be in operation in the Church in these last days, and the Church will do greater things than even the Early Church did. It will have greater power, signs, and wonders than were recorded in the Acts of the Apostles." He said that we have seen and experienced many healings, but we will now behold amazing miracles that have not been seen before. Jesus continued, "More and more miracles will be performed in the last days which are just ahead, for it is time for the gift of the working of miracles.” 

     He stated, “Many of My own people will not accept the moving of My Spirit and will turn back and will not be ready to meet Me at My coming. Many will be deceived by false prophets and miracles of satanic origin. But follow the Word of God, the Spirit of God, and Me, and you will not be deceived. I am gathering My own together and am preparing them, for the time is short.”

     It’s time for miracles! It’s time to grow in greater skill toward God’s power. It’s time to move with the Spirit in a greater way, because the greatest days of the Church are ahead of us!

"In Nothing Be Terrified" by Nancy Dufresne

“Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies” (Psalm 27:11). “Mine enemies” in Hebrew means those who observe me. The Amplified translation reads, “Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain and even path because of my enemies [those who lie in wait for me].”

     There are evil spirits that are present to observe us so they can learn our weaknesses and try to gain an entrance. If they observe that someone has an uncontrolled temper, they will position people around them to set that temper off. If they observe that someone engages in gossip, they will position people around them to feed that. If they observe that someone is fearful, they will feed that fear.

     But Psalm 23:5 tells us, “Thou preparest a table before me in the PRESENCE of MINE enemies....” Who cares that the enemy is present? He is subject to us. We are his master. Just stay at the table of God’s Word and eat your victory right in front of the devil! Make him watch you eat your victory!

     Paul warned us in Ephesians 4:27, “Neither give place to the devil.” The devil is present and looking for a place into your life – he’s looking for a point of entrance. Just because he’s present doesn’t mean we have to give him entrance. And if we have given him a place, we can take back the place we gave him.

     In Psalm 27:11 is listed two defenses against the enemies that are present and looking for an open door into your life: (1) “Teach me Your way.” As we do things God’s way, then the devil that observes us has no point of entrance. When we are doers of the Word, the Word governs the way we live, so then the devil has no open door. (2) “Lead me in a plain path.” As we walk the path God has planned for us and stay true to His plan for our lives, then the devil that observes us has no point of entrance.

     Philippians 1:28 commands us, “And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition [def. – doom], but to you of salvation, and that of God.” The Amplified transition reads, “And do not [for a moment] be frightened or intimidated in anything by your opponents and adversaries, for such [constancy and fearlessness] will be a clear sign (proof and seal) to them of [their impending] destruction, but [a sure token and evidence] of your deliverance and salvation, and that from God.”

     Evil spirits are not all-knowing. They don’t know your heart. They can only hear your words, see your actions, and read your countenance – and they are observing you. 

     Don’t get up depressed, speaking words of depression or wearing a depressed look – for those demons who observe you will laugh with glee and stay around to feed your mind with fear and sadness. But rejoice and praise God for His great plan of redemption and for the Blood of Jesus – the Blood between you and all that’s yours from the power of the enemy, and those who observe you will flee in terror.

     When you rejoice in the face of wrong circumstances, refusing to be terrified by your adversaries, that is to them “an evident token of perdition” [doom]. “Doom” means unavoidable adverse fate or destiny.

     What is a token? A sign. When you rejoice in the face of the devil, it’s a blinking neon sign in his face saying, “You’re doomed! You’re doomed! You lose! You lose!”

     Refusing to be terrified is also a token or sign to you “...of salvation, and that of God.”
When you rejoice, it’s a sign you’re saying, “I’m saved! I’m redeemed! I win! I win!” The fearlessness you show on your face, your countenance, is proof of their doom and defeat and proof of your salvation and victory.

     When you rejoice, difficulties and problems break away from you. Rejoicing shows what you KNOW, not what you SEE. When demons observe you rejoicing in the face of wrong circumstances, they realize you know something, and they lose any advantage they are looking to gain. When they see you rejoicing, they know they can’t get it.

     “And do not [for a MOMENT] be frightened or intimidated in ANYTHING by your opponents and adversaries….” Don’t be frightened by ANYTHING – whether it was caused by an attack of the enemy or because you opened the door to it and it is your own fault.

     When fear strikes, we are not to let it remain for a moment! So many live in extended seasons of fear, and some don’t even realize that they are making decisions based on fear. But when we are thinking right, in line with God’s Word, fear can’t get in.

     If fear has gotten in, it came in through wrong thinking and having our attention on the wrong thing. Any Christian who is in bondage is in bondage to an unrenewed mind, not to the devil. Satan has been defeated, and we have been delivered from his kingdom, therefore, defeat doesn’t come from him, but from wrong thinking. Problems come when the mind is not renewed to the truth that Satan is already defeated. But when we know that Satan is defeated and forbid fear in our lives, the devil is done pushing us around. 

     The renewed mind doesn’t respond to fear, but it responds to the salvation that the Word reveals. Respond to the victory Jesus won for you and not to the fear of circumstances. How do you do that? Focus on and put your attention on the victory Jesus made yours instead of on the fearful circumstances that come. Hold fast to your victory. People quit too soon. If they don’t see immediate results, people let go of their victory. Hold to it until your victory is seen. 

     Galatians 6:9 instructs us, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” “Faint” means ceasing to believe and resist, becoming less earnest and persistent. Just not being earnest and persistent causes us to let go instead of holding fast. The more stubborn Satan is, the more earnest and persistent we must be. Jesus won victory for us. We must hold fast to that. We must be interested enough in our victory to hold fast to it.

Quit Looking at the Wall

     When driving through a construction area, there will be a wall or barrier put up on the shoulder that comes right up to the lane of traffic. Sometimes, drivers get nervous to have a wall so close to their lane. The way to be untroubled is to quit looking at the wall. The size of the lane didn’t change. Just keep looking at your lane and stay centered in it. Nothing changed that applies to you. Quit looking at the wall – it isn’t in your lane.

     Proverbs 4:20-22 instructs us, “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.”

     This verse tells us where our attention is to be – on the Word. When circumstances surround your life like a wall, your lane of God’s provision, blessing, and victory didn’t change. Quit looking at the wall, and keep your attention on your lane. The wall of adversity can’t change the lane of victory Jesus laid for you. Just center up in that lane and quit looking at the wall of adversity. 

     Philippians 4:11 reads, “…I have learned how to be content (satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or disquieted) in whatever state I am.” We could say, “I have learned how to keep my attention off the wall and on my own lane.”

     One aspect of bad drivers is that they are distracted by their surroundings and aren’t paying attention to what’s in their lane. An unrenewed mind has its attention on the surroundings and not on what’s in its lane, but a renewed mind has its attention on its own lane and not on its surroundings.

     No matter what comes, remember that victory is already sure, so in nothing be terrified!

"2020 - Our Best Year Yet" by Nancy Dufresne

Many times, God will speak to a pastor about the new year, letting them know what to expect and what He wants them to emphasize for that year. God tells us what to say, for it shows us what He is OFFERING us in the new year, then as we put those words in our mouth, He can bring it to pass, for what God says calls for our faith if it is to come to pass.

     At our staff Christmas party, the anointing of God fell on me and God said to me, “2020 will be your best year yet!”

     God gives a congregation something to say and believe for about the new year so that they will move forward in UNITY, for unity is imperative for God’s best to flow.

God said to me that 2020 will be our best year yet!

     There have been many wonderful things that God has done for us in years past, and we are grateful for it all, but God always has more, and He always has something better. We never reach the end of all of God’s best – there’s always more!

     God has so much for us that as we read the New Testament, it would seem as though the men who wrote it had difficulty finding words that fully and adequately express what our boundless resources are in Christ. 

     When the Word speaks of what belongs to us in Christ, what God has provided for us, and the greatness that awaits us, we can notice in the Bible the many “UN’s.” The Bible authors used words like: unsearchable, unspeakable, unfathomable, untraceable, undiscoverable.

     Why do they use such words? Because human words cannot very easily express how rich we are in Christ.

     An astronaut said that when they are so far above the earth, they can hardly describe it in words we are used to because the view is so different than what we are used to seeing – it’s so much higher and so much above the daily view.

     Let’s look at Romans 11:33. “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how UNSEARCHABLE are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!” The Amplified translation reads, “Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How UNFATHOMABLE (inscrutable, unsearchable) are His judgments (His decisions)! And how UNTRACEABLE (mysterious, UNDISCOVERABLE) are His ways (His methods, His paths)!”

     There’s always more to God and how He moves and works. We have never seen all of His ways. We will never reach the end of His genius and ability. No matter all that we find and learn in our search, there’s always more to search out – we will never reach the end of our search with Him. And just think – that Greater One is in us!

     Let’s look at Ephesians 3:8 that reads, “...the UNSEARCHABLE riches of Christ.” The Amplified says, “...the unending (boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless) riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out].”

     We will never reach the end of what has been made available to us in Christ – there’s always more! We must never think we have arrived or that we have it all – we must never settle or quit reaching.

     Second Corinthians 9:15 reads, “Thanks be unto God for his UNSPEAKABLE gift.” The Amplified translation says, “Now thanks be to God for His Gift, [precious] beyond telling [His indescribable, inexpressible, free Gift]!”

     “Unspeakable” means not being able to express with words.

     Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 12:2-4, “I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard UNSPEAKABLE words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.” The Amplified version of verse 4 reads, “Was caught up into paradise, and he heard utterances beyond the power of man to put into words, which man is not permitted to utter.”

     First Peter 1:8 says, “Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy UNSPEAKABLE and full of glory.” The Amplified says, “...you believe in Him and exult and thrill with inexpressible and glorious (triumphant, heavenly) joy.”

     Although that which belongs to us in Christ may be difficult to express, it doesn’t have to be difficult to receive. His riches are ours – they are available for those who will cash the check. Nothing limits the supply from God except our capacity to take it.

     Although this will be our best year yet, the best won’t end with this year – there will always be more.

     With all the great things God has in store for us this year and in the coming years, the best is yet to be – for after our years on the earth, Heaven holds more of God’s greatness for us. First Corinthians 2:9-12 in the Amplified translation tells us, “...as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed]. Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man’s scrutiny]. For what person perceives (knows and understands) what passes through a man’s thoughts except the man’s own spirit within him? Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend) the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have not received the spirit [that belongs to] the world, but the [Holy] Spirit Who is from God, [given to us] that we might realize and comprehend and appreciate the gifts [of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly] bestowed on us by God.”

     The only way we can come to know what God has made ours is by the Holy Spirit – He is the One who reveals it to us.

     There’s always more for us, so let’s declare it often – 2020 will be our best year yet!
